My wife was visiting friends in Boston and mailed the Rosa de Jamaica. I am pretty sure it's the first time she ever mailed something or even gone inside a post office. She's almost 50 years old. Some people call DR a developing country but it seems more like a Libertarian dream with not really any agencies, rules, etc. Like if you want to add a level or two or three to your house and rent out apartments you just get you some cement and rebar and build away. No inspector is going to come and make sure you are doing it to code, there is none probably. Of course buildings cave in and kill people, if saw the news about the night club collapsing. Rich and famous people died in that so the building owner is in a bind.

I could have got her a shipping label etc but decided to let her have her own experience with mail. She actually put the address first the name below in both sender and recipient spaces but i guess USPS figured it out. She did send it ground advantage i think and paid $16 but probably could have sent flat rate priority for like $10 unless that's a discount rate i'm used to. Possibly if go to the counter its more expensive i guess.

I love agua de jamaica... made my own for years after being introduced to it when staying with friends in Mazatlan.

Was just thinking this morning - I no longer remember the last time I received or sent an actual letter in the post. We just don't do that any more. And email isn't far behind it.
